Back On Track

Well, it’s that time again, and this mystery animal will be a nice segue back into real science. So, without further ado:

Sacrificial lamb

Scapegoat, too

But all I may do

Is kill a frog or two

And smell up the room

Hint: please note the ovoviviparity AND coloration pattern observed.
