Resistance is futile.
Google, in it’s continuing effort to take over the world (and moon). It is not only doing so through space, but also through time! If you teach geology or world geography (hint, hint) Google Earth now includes Ancient Rome. It’s a little time consuming to get functioning and requires a bit of computing power for high speed browsing but it’s worth it! Below is a screenshot:
*note: I have a dual 2.0 GHz CPU and 3 GB of DDR3 Ram with 256 mb video card and turned off everything but this and have it set to it’s lowest resolution. I wasn’t joking when I said it takes some computing power.
