XKCD

I know many of you love XKCD, but you should see what XKCD looks like today. If you’ve ever used a command prompt or linux terminal (as I have been doing far too often recently), your inner nerd should love the images below:

I was just hoping a “sudo” easter egg would be there, but it also has the following commands and responses:

guest@xkcd:/$ help
That would be cheating!

guest@xkcd:/$ apt-get
This APT has Super Cow Powers

guest@xkcd:/$ man
Oh, I’m sure you can figure it out.

guest@xkcd:/$ date
March 32nd

guest@xkcd:/$ cat
You’re a kitty!

Edit: Here are more!!!

guest@xkcd:/$ vi
You should really use emacs.

guest@xkcd:/$ make me a sandwich
What? Make it yourself.
guest@xkcd:/$ sudo make me a sandwich
Okay.

guest@xkcd:/$ ls
* welcome.txt
* license.txt
* blag/
* blog/
* fora/
* forums/
* store/
* about/

guest@xkcd:/$ go east
You are at a computer using unixkcd.
Exits: west, south
guest@xkcd:/$ go west
Life is peaceful there.
Exits: east, west
guest@xkcd:/$ go west
In the open air.
Exits: east, west
guest@xkcd:/$ go west
Where the skies are blue.
Exits: east, west
guest@xkcd:/$ go west
This is what we’re gonna do.
Exits: east, west
guest@xkcd:/$ go west
Sun in wintertime.
Exits: east, west
guest@xkcd:/$ go west
We will do just fine.
Exits: east, west

guest@xkcd:/$ go south
A dark hallway.
Exits: north, south
You are eaten by a grue.
You’re dead!

guest@xkcd:/$ go
Go where?

guest@xkcd:/$ cat license.txt

Also, you can use the “cd x” command to go to the blog, forum, store, and about page

“dir” also works now, it didn’t when I first tried this thing out…sneaky Randall…

happy playing, and let me know if you find any other commands that work!

    if you type in “make me a sandwich” it outputs “What? Make it Yourself!” but if you type in “Sudo make me a sandwich” it outputs “Okay.” lol

    Also, type in “go west”…

    Those are the only ones I’ve found so far.
